Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Lead Medicaid Liaison, the incumbent will independently perform the following duties:
o Perform internal audits of all programs receiving Medicaid Service to ensure compliance to Medicaid regulatory requirements o Conduct or assist in training and education to all levels of staff on Medicaid Compliance issues and expectations. o Assist the Lead Medicaid Compliance Liaison in reporting to the Director on Medicaid compliance audit findings on a quarterly basis o Report to the Lead Medicaid Compliance Liaison on potential or actual self-disclosures o Participate in statewide meetings and individual meetings with Central Office staff o Review claim samples provided by Office of Audit Services and analyze service documentation for input on the provided spreadsheet quarterly o Designated back-up to Lead Medicaid Liaison when needed o Additional duties as assigned

Salary Range:
From $57984 to $73813 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Permanent Service as a Social Work Assistant 3 OR Reachable on the current Social Work Assistant 3 Civil Service list OR Eligible for 70.1 transfer to a Social Work Assistant 3 title OR Provisional Appointment:
Must possess a Bachelors degree or higher in a human service area and one year of permanent competitive service as a Social Work Assistant 2 or parenthetic; For the purpose of these examinations, degrees in the following human service areas are considered qualifying:
the professional disciplines of art therapy, audiology, dance therapy, drama therapy, music therapy, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, social work, speech/language pathology, and therapeutic recreation. Also included are related academic disciplines associated with the study of:
human behavior (e.g., gerontology, human services, sociology, speech communication); human skills development (e.g., counseling, education, human development); or any other study of services related to basic human care needs (e.g., community mental health, rehabilitation counseling). Examples of non-qualifying degrees include but are not limited to:
anthropology, archeology, communication, criminal justice, fine arts, philosophy, and political science. VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 based on the Center for Medicaid Services regulationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
