Responsibilities:
The office assistant will be an important contributor to the success of the Business Office.
Promptly complete tasks related to Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Credit Card reconciliation functions of the business office.
Input data in dedicated financial programs, Statewide Financial System (SFS) or Acumatica software.
Review and verify receipts for purchase of items.
Input appropriate account codes for financial transactions.
Read and follow purchasing, receiving or invoice processing procedures as assigned.
Record, file, retrieve and analyze documents related to the functions of the business office.
Communicate efficiently and effectively with supervisors, teammates, and personnel outside of the office.
Utilize MS Office Outlook, TEAMS, WebEx program to conference and communicate information.
Respond to requests and process appropriately by given deadlines.
Maintain compliance with NYS OPWDD training requirements including completion of all required self-taught training.
Maintain satisfactory time and attendance.
Additional Comments PLEASE NOTE SALARY:
The posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for ISU Grade 6 ($34,152), along with any special salary treatments in effect for this position in this location, such as a Downstate Location Adjustment ($3,087).
The posted maximum salary (Job Rate of $42,251) includes the previously Downstate Adjustment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
